December Wrap-Up!

Guys, are you aware of the fact that tomorrow will be 2015? ARE YOU? On one hand, I want 2014 to end because it hasn't been the greatest, especially since the end of summer but on the other hand, I'm scared about 2015. Anyways, I'm here to talk about my reading this month and as most of you would know, it hasn't been the greatest but, to be honest, I don't care. Here you have them: 1. Shadow and Bone  by Leigh Bardugo 2. Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo 3. Paper Towns  by John Green 4. Gifted  by H. S. Stone 5. The Evolution of Mara Dyer  by Michelle Hodkin

2015 Bookish Goals and Resolutions

Tuesday is supposed to be dedicated to Top Ten Tuesday but since I don’t have ten bookish goals and resolutions for 2015, I’ve decided to just talk you through what I want to do related to my bookish world this next year – which is completely upon us and it’s freaking me out but hey, people say odd years are always luckier. Let’s see if that’s right!

Gifted by H. S. Stone

Stone Pages (format): 262 pages (e-book) Publication Date: October 10 th , 2014 Publisher: Self-published (CreateSpace) Summary: “ In a kingdom where the Gifteds are captured and thrown into fights to the death, Voima is fortunate that she is just a Regular. However, her brother, Vendd, isn’t so lucky. Since his Power started manifesting itself, the siblings have lived a life on the run, barely escaping the king’s soldiers. Just as Voima and Vendd have settled into a new home, a fleeing Gifted enters their lives, begging for help but bringing soldiers after him. Despite the siblings’ efforts, the soldiers discover Vendd’s Power. Now Voima, an outmatched Regular girl, must find a way to defeat the kingdom’s most dangerous Gifteds in order to save her brother from certain death”. When H. S. Stone contacted me to see if I was interested in reading his book I read the premise and thought “this is fantasy mixed with some Roman cultu

Christmas Tag + A Bit Late Merry Christmas!

After more than a week without writing a single post (believe me, it wasn’t because I didn’t want to, it was because my router died and the company, which should have brought the new one is full of incompetent people, lied to my face when they said they tried to deliver it but couldn’t because I wasn’t home. HA! I was the whole day at home just to get it but whatever….), I’m here today to give you a very late tag. I was tagged millions eons ago by the lovely Sarah @ Bookish Retreat and I was supposed to upload it this last 24 th but alas! No internet, no blogging possible for me whatsoever. I meant to upload as well a Top Ten Tuesday but that is not gonna happen now since Santa has already come. Anyways, I’m gonna answer the questions in a moment but before I want to tell you all a bit about Spanish Christmas traditions.

The Taylor Swift Book Tag!

Brittany @ Space Between The Spines tagged me, a while ago, to do The Taylor Swift Book Tag and that's what I'm doing today. I'm incredibly late on tags! I still have 3 more to write, it's getting ridiculous but I swear I'll do them before 2014 ends. I promise! But let's get on with the questions!

Top Ten Tuesday # 16 (Top Ten Books I Read in 2014)

TOP TEN TUESDAY   is a weekly book meme hosted by   The Broke and The Bookish . I wasn’t initially gonna participate in this week’s TTT because there is still two weeks of December to go and maybe you can read a favourite in those two weeks but since I’m on a Reading slump (you can read all about it here) I thought why not doing the post anyways and here I am. Here are my top ten favourite books of 2014! One of them is missing from the picture though because I read it as an e-book and even though there are 10 books in the picture two of them are joined together. I’ll explain all in good time, don’t worry.

Oh Reading Slumps, I loathe thee!

That’s it. I’ve just broken my own personal record: more than a week without reading a single word and I’m quite anxious here because I don’t feel like trying to do something to stop this nonsense. Yep guys, we can start panicking right this second!

Christmas Carol Book Tag!

The lovely Brittany over at Space Between The Spines tagged me to do The Christmas Carol Book Tag and even though it has taken me awhile, I finally got the chance to write all the answers to the questions this morning to finally share them with you all. Let’s start, shall we? ;)

Top Ten Tuesday # 15 (Top Ten New-To-Me Authors I Read In 2014)

TOP TEN TUESDAY   is a weekly book meme hosted by   The Broke and The Bookish . This week I have to tell you all about my top ten new-to-me authors I read in 2014. Most of these authors have been writing for quite a while but I didn't know about them until now and I have to thank both the Book Blogging community and BookTube.

Bookish Scenarios Book Tag!

Hi there bookworms! A few weeks ago Veronika Éles over at Reading is Dreaming with Open Eyes  (thank you, lovely!) tagged to do the Bookish Scenarios Book Tag and I’m a horrible person because it took me so long and I have a few more tags that I need to do ASAP, so maybe this week would be Tag Week here on my blog. You’ve been warned. But enough of chat, and let’s get on with the questions!

Top Ten Tuesday # 14 (Top Ten Books I'm Looking Forward To In 2015)

TOP TEN TUESDAY   is a weekly book meme hosted by   The Broke and The Bookish . This week is all about those books we are dying to get our hands on in 2015. There are so many books I wanted to feature but, only 10 could make it. Here is my list!

November Wrap-Up!

November is over and there is only one month left before 2014 is over. I’m still trying to not think about it. Anyhow, this month I’ve read 11 books. Don’t ask me why, because I don’t know. I did participate in a read-a-thon but that still does not explain why I’ve read this much. Honestly, is still a mystery to me taking into account I’ve been quite stressed with Uni work. 1. Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea by April Genevieve Tucholke 2. Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout 3. A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness 4. At First Sight by Heather Todd 5. The Monstrumologist by Rick Yancey 6. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson 7. Saga vol. 1 by Brian K. Vaughan 8. Let’s Get Lost by Adi Alsaid 9. The Diviners by Libba Bray 10. Hearts to Follow by Dana Burkey 11. Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch
