September 2015

Someone please tell me where September has gone to because I seriously have no idea. I know this is such a cliché to say but this time, it’s true. My month can be summarized as a lot of car drives to our village (by that I mean where my grandparents used to live when they were young) to spend time with my grandma and aunt. It’s nice to get away from time to time but also tiring. Uni hasn’t started yet and I’m getting a bit bored if I’m honest. October 6 th can’t come soon enough (I’m pretty sure once it is here I will start complaining about it though…) Reading wise, I’ve read a mix of genres: Fantasy, classics, literary fiction and YA. I even managed to squeeze a non-fiction book about fairytales into my reading month as well. And I have to say, not counting Percy Jackson, I’ve been reviewing every single book I’ve read which I’m very happy about. Two of those reviews will be up later this week though.

September Wrap-Up!

Considering previous months, September can’t be considered a great reading month for me but I’m happy with the result. My knee has not improved and so it has made me a little bit moody all month long which affected my reading, not gonna lie. Fortunately the seven books I’ve read were great and I’m pleased about it. 1.  Obsidian  by Jennifer L. Armentrout 2.  Onyx  by Jennifer L. Armentrout 3.  Ready Player One  by Ernest Cline 4.  Opal  by Jennifer L. Armentrout 5.  Origin  by Jennifer L. Armentrout 6.  I Was a Teenage Ghost Hunter  by Brian K. Henry (ebook) 7.  The Mark of Athena  by Rick Riordan

September Playlist!

By now you may know, or maybe not, that  music is a huge part of my life. I can’t live without her basically. It is my great companion. Ask anyone who knows me. I’m always with my headphones on, which is great when you are kind of an anti-social person. Or rather an introvert. So, what is all this rambling you might be wondering? Or maybe not since you’ve probably read the title… Well, I decided to start sharing with you guys what songs I’ve been listening during the month and if you like the idea I might make it a monthly thing, like a wrap-up or something. I’ll make a list of my 20 most listened songs. That way we can recommend each other music. Isn’t it great? Enough talking and more listing… A warning: there might be different songs from the same band or singer and they aren’t in any particular order. Also, they don’t have to be new releases or anything.
