TOP TEN TUESDAY   is a weekly book meme hosted by   The Broke and The Bookish . I wasn’t initially gonna participate in this week’s TTT because there is still two weeks of December to go and maybe you can read a favourite in those two weeks but since I’m on a Reading slump (you can read all about it here) I thought why not doing the post anyways and here I am. Here are my top ten favourite books of 2014! One of them is missing from the picture though because I read it as an e-book and even though there are 10 books in the picture two of them are joined together. I’ll explain all in good time, don’t worry.

I'm one of those people who love to hear music while reading but I don't normally tend to link certain songs to certain books . Don’t ask me why. I don’t know. However, when I saw that some booktubers were making Books and Songs video I thought it was a terrific idea and since then I have wanted to make one of my own. As you may or may not know I don’t have a Youtube channel and I didn’t really know how a blog post about this topic would turn out. You simply put the book and next the song? It sounded lame. I’m literally speechless. The cover of my copy has a little subtitle that says: “You can’t blend in when you were born to stand out”. That, combined with the title itself could have never described in a better way the book itself. A bit of a warning first: the reader will not be able to put this book down.
