24in48 Readathon

This weekend the 24in48 hours readathon takes place. The rule is simple: reading for 24 hours in a span of 48 hours.

Dewey's 24 Hour Readathon TBR // Progress & Wrap Up

It was earlier last year when I found out about Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon and even though I know is almost impossible to read 24 hours non-stop I think the idea is brilliant. A Readathon worldwide; readers from every country coming together at the same time for an entire day to read, read and read. My start time is Saturday 2PM and it would end Sunday 1:59PM. You can learn more about it on their website as well as your start time. I’ve never taken part myself but lately my motivation to read is lacking – and by that I mean I’m completely obsessed with Netflix’s Daredevil. If you are following me on Twitter *wink, wink* you would know already since it’s the only thing I tweet about…

The #ShitIHaveTooManyBooks Read-a-thon Round 2 TBR!

Okay, that title was a mouthful LOL! A few months ago, Regan from PeruseProject ( https://www.youtube.com/user/PeruseProject/videos ) started her own Read-a-thon and even though I couldn’t participate in the first one I decided to take part in Round 2 because one, is summer time and two, why the heck not? I don’t have big expectations for it because I’m in a weird reading slump which means I’m reading but at slow pace which I don’t really mind either but anyways… Here is my TBR for this: 1. Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi 2. Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephenie Perkins 3. Burn for Burn by Jenny Han & Shioban Vivian 4. La Princesa Prometida by William Goldman ( The Princess Bride ) I’m planning on reading these four books and just in case I finished them all (I wish!) I would probably pick up Noughts & Crosses  by Malorie Blackman which has been on my shelves like forever. The Read-a-thon started this last Wednesday and will end next Wednesd...

#RYBSAT Round 2 TBR

RYBSAT stands for Read Your Bookshelf-a-thon and is hosted by Miranda from BooKss101 ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo8cV36kdkVG5wpTZLJZMQg ), Gary from BookNeedLove ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGJsAa_uPDUcHzBtdxxcYYA ) and Lainy from Gingerreadslainey ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWEbV2Z1guEF0SvWF0Ng2qw ). It is going to last from Monday 16th to Monday 23rd of June.  Basically what you have to do is pick a spot in your bookshelf and start reading from then on and see how much you can read in a week. If you want to see Miranda’s video (that’s how I discovered this read-a-thon) here it is: My pick is this spot: I’m going to start reading Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout and continue on with Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott and on and on. I honestly don’t know how much reading I will get done because even though is Summer I don’t know what things may get in the way but anyway the only thing that really matters to me is enjoying the books...
