July 2016

July is always a special month for me. It’s true I’m not much fond of summer but July is my birthday month so I can’t help but love him. This July I turned 25 and since then I’m trying not to panic a little bit – I think it is inevitable though. I enjoyed time with friends and family and I stayed most weekends in my grandma’s village. It’s a very peaceful place and I got a lot of reading done because sadly I couldn’t enjoy much time outdoors since hay fever there was (and still is) horrible and everything was covered in pollen, like a blanket of snow. Oh and I also went to the movies and watched Me Before You and Finding Dory. The former was nice and I enjoyed it as I enjoyed the book, but I’m well aware of its problems; Finding Dory was perfect.

July 2015

July is over. I'll say it again. July is over. I'm not panicking, you are... Anyways, July hasn't been an overly exciting month for me besides turning 24 even though that wasn't exciting at all. 24 years old... is gonna take some time getting used to. But then again I still say I'm 20 (unconsciously of course) when people ask *shrugs*. For a few months now I've been including more stuff than only books on my wrap-ups. However, I'm doing this on a rush (I'm not proud to say it though) and I will talk about the books I've read this month, which is more than enough really because I've read 14 books. How I managed to do so is still a mystery to me but taking part in the #24in48 readathon might have something to do with it since I managed to read 5 books and a half in 2 days (most of them were very short)

July Wrap-Up!

Seriously, I can't believe July is over... Seven months of 2014 are gone now. Where is the time going?  Basically this month I’ve read 6 books and 1 novella and even though there are less books than previous months I still have to say I’m happy about my reading month. Here is the list: 1. The Ring & The Crown by Melissa de la Cruz 2. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell 3. Wonder by R. J. Palacio 4. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi 5. Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi 6. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken 7. The Murder Complex by Lindsay Cummings I started The Ring & The Crown in June but didn’t finish it until July mainly because it was quite a disappointment for me. I thought it was gonna be a fantasy read but no, it was like a contemporary read based on a parallel  21 st century world with the mindset of the 14 th century. I gave it 2 stars. Then I picked up Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell because I’ve been dying to read this one fo...
