Vintage Classics: Brontë Series


Maybe you don’t know this about me but I collect different edition of Jane Eyre and when I learnt that Vintage was releasing the new Brontë series I just couldn’t say no. 

And although my initial idea was to get only Jane Eyre, in the end I caved and got Wuthering Heights and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall as well. And I couldn’t be happier I spent my money on them. They are just perfection. The design is incredibly beautiful and not only the covers are to die for but also the end-papers.


I can't resist a beautiful book. So, I did it again. And I regret nothing.

Weekend Reads

This weekend I'm planning on finishing El día de año nuevo y otros cuentos maravillosos  - a short story collection by Vladímir Odóievski that so far it's simply okay nothing really special- and reading a chunk of Outlander . I'm halfway through the latter and so far, it's a very enjoyable read; I started watching the TV show last year when it premiered but stopped after some episodes because I wanted to read the book. I'm finally caught up with what I saw and from now on I don't know what's going to happen which makes me wanna read even more. What are your plans for the weekend?
