The Seven Deadly Sins of Reading Tag

The lovely Anna at Books, Quotes & Dimples tagged to do this tag which was created by BookishlyMalyza. There are seven questions related to the deadly sins and I had so much fun doing it so thank you so much Anna for tagging me ;)

If you want to know my answers, keep reading!

  • Greed – What is your most inexpensive book? What is your most expensive?

My most inexpensive book is actually a novella, Daimon by J. L. Armentrout. It cost me one cent. I’m not even kidding. And my most expensive book has to be the most beautiful books of my collection: The Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm. It is huge and has a velvety touch. Also, the illustrations are to die for. I paid 25 Euros.

  • Wrath – What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?

To be honest it has to be George R. R. Martin. Why? You may ask… well, I freaking adore his books, I think he is brilliant but he is ruthless when it comes to killing characters and that breaks my heart every time. I love reading his books because I know is not gonna be a happy ending and that everybody is in peril but at the same time I hate reading the death of the characters I love… So, if you are planning on reading any of his books please, don’t get emotionally attached to any of the characters, which is an impossible mission.

  • Gluttony – What book have you devoured over and over with no shame?

My answer will be the same as Anna’s: HARRY FREAKING POTTER! I’ve re-read all the books like 5 or 6 times (doing a marathon that is) but I’ve re-read some of them separately more times. The first book has been read more than 10 times…. AND I FEEL NO SHAME ABOUT IT. When it comes to Harry Potter I’m at home.

  •  Sloth – What book have you neglected reading due to laziness?

It has to be The Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. I want to read this trilogy but it's kind of intimidating…

  • Pride – What book do you talk about most in order to sound like an intellectual reader?

Any classics? I don’t know… I don’t feel like if you’ve read a classic is because you are an intellectual reader… It is sad people see it like that, in my opinion. You read whatever you want to read and not all classics are, you know, gold… I think I’m starting to ramble here so, yeah, basically what I want to say is that a book does not make an intellectual reader, the reader makes himself/herself an intellectual individual not matter what he/she reads. If that makes any sense.

  • Lust – What attributes do you find attractive in male or female characters?

When it comes to male characters I’m just gonna say: WILL HERONDALE. You can draw your own conclusions from that. LOL.
And about female characters, I just ask of them to be strong and independent and intelligent. I’m really tired of the entire damsel in distress who needs a knight in shining armour thing.

  • Envy – What book would you most like to receive as a gift?

Not a book, but a box set containing the new gorgeous UK hardback editions of Harry Potter.

Anna, thank you again for tagging me. It was so much fun! And I’m also gonna tag some people:

Vintage Classics: Brontë Series

Maybe you don’t know this about me but I collect different edition of Jane Eyre and when I learnt that Vintage was releasing the new Brontë series I just couldn’t say no.

April 2017

And another month goes by. To be fair, this time it didn't fly around for me; it was quite a slow month in general and I spent half of it reading - I can't even believe I have managed to read all of these books -  and half of it studying for University. I'm all caught up with all my courses and I'm ready to start revising for finals which will be at the end of May/beginning of June. I'm still in awe that for once in my life, I've being productive as hell if I say so myself. Hurray! Basically I wrote down all I had to do and I organised it throughout the first three weeks of April. At the same time I told myself I had to read for fun at least 30 minutes every single day in order to avoid being slumpy due to stress. It worked.

The Gif Tag!

Jess over at My Reading Dress – seriously, go follow her! – tagged me a while ago to do the Gif Tag and I haven’t been able to post it earlier because I have no clue about technology and I couldn’t make the gifs work so I had to investigate a bit. Also, I haven’t read most of the books of the list. I really hope this works out alright so without further ado, let’s get started! Oh, I might have used more than one gif for some of the books...
